Sure a $45M cap might have been a compromise that would have gotten a deal done, but it would have done nothing to FIX the problem. There needs to be a $25M cap for things to get better. The problem was the game was getting to expensive for the average joe. THAT is what needs to be fixed. Signing a deal and fixing the problems are two different things. I have a feeling we're going to be seeing replacement players to start next year until the NHLPA finally breaks. | ||
